Appointment as a Tribunal Judge in Land Registration Division - What is it like and how do you get there?

Date: Monday 25 July
Time: 5pm

Venue: Zoom

The Land Registration Division of the FTT Property Chamber has vacancies for 2 new salaried Tribunal Judges. The Judicial Appointments Board competition will open towards the end of August or early September. This is a rare opportunity to apply for this specific salaried role. It is unlikely further salaried vacancies in this Division will arise for several years.

Whether you are considering applying for this vacancy or think you might want to seek appointment as a Tribunal Judge at some future point come along and learn more about the role and the selection processed used by the JAC.

The Principal Judge, Michael Michell and the most recently appointed judge, Ewan Paton and Naomi Hawkes, 42 Bedford Row and FTT Judge, will talk about this exciting opportunity for a new career and about life as a Land Registration judge. Brie Stevens-Hoare QC, JAC Commissioner will talk about how the JAC approach selection exercised generally. They will all be happy to answer questions submitted to the Administrator (on the email address below) or on the day.

Onlines registration is now closed, please email enquiries@propertybar.org.uk to register
