The selection processes for almost all judicial appointments and for silk are based around “competency frameworks” and gathering evidence of skills or competency”. This seminar will help you really understand what that really means. Have a look at example competency frameworks and have a go yourself at using this approach to assessing applications. Hear from those who have gone through such processes (not necessarily successfully every time). The session will operate as a seminar and a workshop.
