Joint JPLA/JPBA Event - We’re all in this together:

A panel discussion about effective instructions to counsel, and working as an effective solicitor / counsel team

Date: 26 November 2020
Event starts: 5.30pm
Venue: via Zoom
Cost: FREE

Join the JPLA and JPBA for a virtual panel discussion on how solicitors and barristers can work best together.

Covid has changed the way that we all work in property litigation, and it looks as if there is not going to be a swift return to work as normal. This event is an opportunity to explore all aspects of the relationship between solicitors, barristers and clerks, including the most effective ways of instructing barristers (and being instructed), communicating during virtual trials, and building relationships. The panel members will share their experiences and top tips for barristers and solicitors working together effectively.

This event is aimed at junior solicitors and barristers, but all are welcome to attend.

The panel will consist of:

James Duncan-Hartill, Senior Practice Manager at Hardwicke Chambers
Joanne Meah, First Junior Clerk at Falcon Chambers
Chris Brand, Associate at Mills & Reeve
Rupert Cohen, Landmark Chambers

Moderated by Harriet Holmes, Wilberforce Chambers

BOOKING: please book via the PLA website. You will be sent the joining details nearer the event.
