Annual Conference 2024
Property Law: New Perspectives
Date and time: Monday 21 October 2024, 9.30 – 15:45
Venue: The Ashworth Centre, The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn
Join us for this year’s Annual PBA Conference with a keynote address from Lord Briggs of Westbourne, Justice of the Supreme Court.
It is easy for specialist practitioners to become detached from developments and new ideas beyond the immediate context of their day-to-day work. At this year’s conference we will provide delegates with some fresh perspectives and ideas to help stimulate new arguments in practice. The opening address will consider foreign law and judgments; how these interact with property law disputes and what property lawyers need to know about them.
Over the course of the day, delegates will have the choice of attending a diverse selection of workshops covering everything from the fast-developing caselaw under the Building Safety Act 2022, to the evolution of more established principles affecting commercial premises, restrictive covenants and adverse possession.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS YEAR, THE CONFERENCE WILL BE IN-PERSON ATTENDANCE ONLY
